We recently had the pleasure of hosting a student design group from the School of Form, operating at the SWPS University in Warsaw, who presented us with the results of their work on two projects: from Paged plywood and from waste materials created during its production.
In March this year, the integrator and manufacturer of automatic solutions for intralogistics - Europa Systems, in cooperation with the MES supplier - EDOCS Systems, began implementing the automation of production logistics processes in the Solvera Gawel technology factory - a world leader in the fastener market.
Dealing with the weather during construction is an onerous task. Shielding a structure from rain takes time and raises investment costs. In turn, not shielding and exposing the building to the weather often entails drying. This further extends the duration of the work.
Research does not always take place under sterile conditions. Sometimes it is supposed to be just the opposite. There is to be a blazing sun, heavy rain, wind, and representatives of flora and fauna. All this to evaluate plywood under natural conditions.
Paged LabTech, in cooperation with the Department of Chemistry at Gdansk University of Technology, has begun work on low-emission plywood. This is an innovative idea to reduce formaldehyde and VOC emissions from the finished product in the furniture industry, as well as to use environmentally safe materials.
Paged Plywood has obtained the EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certificate. It certifies that the environmental impact of our products at the various stages of their manufacture and life cycle has been assessed. This document makes it possible to objectively compare products that perform the same function in terms of their environmental performance.
